Not to worry. Not only is the Internet easy to learn, but there are places on the Internet to help you learn it. Also, most libraries offer classes on Internet use. They should cover all the basic features. Call them and ask for the time schedule. If they don't offer such a class, then who better to suggest that they have an Internet Training class ;-)

If you're a new computer/Internet user, you probaby don't know what kind of software you should have on your computer. That's why we have some good stuff listed here for you to choose from.

E-Mail

You're also probaby unaware of the fact that there are many free e-mail services on the Internet. Some of them are web-based (go to a web site to read and write your e-mail), and some are server based (you downnload your mail from a server and read it in an e-mail program, or client).
